Research background

I am a Post Doctoral Fellow at Single Motor Unit Laboratory with Prof. W. Z. Rymer at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (Former Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago). My area of interest is muscle electrical response analysis for human upper arm.

Before moving to RIC, I have finished my doctoral studies at Indian Institute of Technology Madras with Prof. T. Asokan as my supervisor. I have worked on detection and analysis of fatigue induced hand tremor in robotic surgery.

I have also worked in Pathological hand tremors, as a part of my masters research in Jadavpur University. Understanding upper arm movement from Neuro-muscular perspective was always my prime area of interest.
